Swim & Dive Team

Members, Ages 5-18

Open to Members, ages 5-18, our Swim & Dive Team is a great way to learn new skills or strengthen existing ones. Our experienced coaching staff works to help team members progress in ability and technique while also encouraging teamwork, leadership, and personal goal setting – skills that can translate into everyday life. Participants will build technique, endurance and speed. All Swim & Dive Team participants must have passed a certain level of swim lessons. Swim and Dive tiers levels are listed below. New! Fitter & Faster Clinic

Fitter & Faster is looking forward to returning to the J for a swim camp in March 2023! Availability is limited to 24 participants to ensure the highest level learning experience. Participants will be divided according to age. There will be a group for ages 9-11 and a group for ages 12 and older. JCC Members have the opportunity to register before the general public. Early registration for J members will close January 2nd.

Silver Sharks

  • For those new to the program
  • Need to have passed Level 4 swim lessons or schedule a swim test.
  • Learn drills, dives and turns while building stroke technique and endurance.
  • Prerequisite for Silver level: 25 freestyle w/ side breath, 25 back stroke, 25 basic breast stroke, dolphin kick
