Staenberg Kooper Fellman Campus

Special Parking Protocol: April 30 – May 2

We have several large events happening on our campus from Wednesday, April 30th through Friday, May 2nd. This increase in traffic will cause an increased demand for parking. Because of this, we are implementing two temporary parking protocols. Details can be found below.

Members coming to use the Fitness Center during this time can continue to park in the main front parking lot as they have been. If the main front lot is full, parking will be available in the outdoor pool parking lot. Those parking in the pool lot can choose to take the shuttle (available 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from April 30th through May 2nd) or walk around the building to the main front entrance.

We apologize for this temporary inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. As always, your health and safety are our top priority. Please exercise additional caution when visiting our campus and be mindful that heavy construction equipment and increased traffic will be present during this time. Thank you.

Yom Ha’Atzmaut Carnival Parking Protocol

Davis Early Learning Center tricycle track. This entrance will only be accessible from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30th. There will be a security guard at this entrance who can direct you to the carnival. See Map

Parking Lot Expansion Project

We listen to your feedback. A request we often hear is to increase our Fitness Center parking. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce the expansion of the upper level Fitness Center parking lot. This project will bring 55 new upper level Fitness Center parking stalls located where the Livingston Apartments were.

Now through Mid-May: Fitness Center Entrance & Parking CLOSED.

Please use  the Main Front Entrance to access the building during this time.

Phase 4 of the parking lot expansion project is underway. Phase 4 will again involve the complete closure of the Fitness Center entrance and Fitness Center parking. This closure will include the Fitness Center traffic circle and sidewalk leading to the Fitness Center. Starting Monday, April 14th, all members MUST use the Main Front Entrance to access the building. All visitors to campus must park in the main front entrance parking lot. (See map below.) Extra handicapped parking will be available in this lot. The ring road around campus will remain open.

We are working as quickly as possible. This is the final phase of the project involving concrete removal, dirt work, pouring of concrete, and installation of lighting. Phase 4 is projected to take several weeks. Weather permitting, the projected completion is expected to be mid-May.

As always, your health and safety are our top priority. Please be mindful that heavy construction equipment will be in use during this project. Please exercise additional caution when visiting our campus during this time.

The completion of the project will take place in four phases. Our goal is to have this new parking complete by the start of summer. We will communicate additional dates soon as they becomes available. We recognize that this project will bring some temporary inconveniences and for that we apologize. We will work to keep these disruptions as minimal as possible. We are confident that the end product will be worth it. We will do our best to communicate any updates in a timely manner. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to bring you one of the best facilities in Omaha.
