Enrichment Opportunities

In addition to the ELC’s enrichment courses, the JCC offers numerous programs geared toward Kindergarten aged kids and above.

🎨 ELC Enrichment Courses

JCC members & non members | Ages 3-5

Lower School classes are open to children born between 8/1/2022 through 7/1/2023 and require a minimum of three and maximum of eight participants. Upper School classes are open to children born between 8/1/2020-8/1/2022 and require a minimum of four and maximum of eight participants. All classes are held at the ELC.

Pop-Up Enrichment
Monday, February 23

Join Miss Shira for arts, music, movement, and more! Come ready to play and explore whatever pops into our minds.

Mario
Tuesday, March 10

Let’s-a go! In this Super Mario Pop-Up Class, kids will jump, dance, and power-up through playful games and movement inspired by Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. No warp tube required.

Toy Story
Friday, April 17

Join Woody, Buzz, Miss Amanda and all the classic toys as we jump, dance, and play to infinity and beyond!

Spanish 1
Wednesdays, January 7-21

Hola, amigos. Join us for a fun and engaging Spanish class where children will explore the language through songs, games, stories, and play. We’ll build vocabulary, celebrate culture, and make learning muy divertido! This enrichment course is part of a three class session.

Storybook Baking
Wednesdays, January 28-February 11

Whisk, stir, and read along in our Storybook Baking class. Each week, we’ll dive into a delightful children’s book and then bake
a tasty treat inspired by the story—mixing a perfect blend of literacy, creativity, and yum. This enrichment course is part of
a three class session.

Spanish 2
Wednesdays, February 18-March 4

¡Hola, amigos! Join us for a fun and engaging Spanish class where children will explore the language through songs, games, stories, and play. We’ll build vocabulary, celebrate culture, and make learning ¡muy divertido! This enrichment course is part of a three class session.

Paw Patrol
Wednesdays, March 11-25

No job is too big; no pup is too small in our Paw Patrol Adventure Class! Join Miss Shira, Chase, Skye, Marshall, and the whole team for games, art, music, and movement as they solve pup-sized missions, work together, and have a tail-wagging good time. This enrichment course is part of a three class session.

🏀 Kinderhoopers

Mondays | 4:30-5:15 pm

Come join us for skill development and fun, with Future Stars at the J. The kids will learn the basic skills of basketball while playing fun games and competitions. All activities will be run by the JCC Basketball Coordinator. These are 4 week long sessions running each month during basketball season.

⚽️ Soccer Stars

Open to ages 18 months-5 years

We’re partnering with Soccer Stars and the J Athletics department to build soccer skills, develop self-confidence, improve gross motor skills, and practice socialization. 🏈 Athletes of Tomorrow

Ages 3-5

Preschool Sports is now Athletes of Tomorrow! We will work on fundamentals of various sports but will also participate in many non-sport activities that work on physical movement, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. Our goal is to help your Preschooler gain confidence and coordination while in a FUN environment.
