Kyra Sedgwick and Cliff “Method Man” Smith lead an incredible ensemble cast in the uproarious new comedy BAD SHABBOS, winner of the Audience Award for Best Narrative at the Tribeca Film Festival! David and his fiancée Meg are about to have their parents meet for the first time over a Shabbat dinner on New York’s Upper West Side when an accidental death (or murder?) gets in the way. With Meg’s Catholic parents due any moment, this family dinner soon spirals into a hilarious disaster.

Watercolor Workshop: Learning to Paint Loose

Experience the enjoyment of creative growth through this series of one-day watercolor workshops led by international and award-winning watercolor artist, Telagio Baptista. Whether you have painted all your life or just want a new hobby, these workshops will provide you with the time and guidance to elevate your painting. Participants will receive individualized guidance from the instructor.
Supply List
If possible, participants should bring the following items with them to each workshop.
- Watercolor Paints (Winsor Newton Cotman small tubes, or any inexpensive brand)
- Watercolor Paper Pad (140lb cold press / 11×14 or any size close) any brand
- Various Watercolor Brushes: Small round synthetic brushes (#2 & #6), Flat synthetic brushes (1/4” & 1” wide), Fiber brush (#4)
- White Palette with Several Painting Wells
- Mounting Board: Used to accommodate 11×14 watercolor paper as work surface (gatorboard, thin plywood, cooking sheet, foam core board or artist’s drawing board)
- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (grocery store)
- Masking Tape or Artist White Tape (1”W)
- 2 Water Containers (cups, recycled food containers, jars, etc.)
- 2B Pencil & White or Kneaded Eraser

If you have wanted to write your family’s story, that great American novel, or you have always wanted to try your hand at poetry, join us! Everyone, from absolute beginner to professional, is welcome to attend. We provide kosher snacks and writing prompts. There is no cost to attend but donations are always welcome.
