Summer Swim Test Day
Beat the line this summer! Join us at the outdoor pool (weather permitting) on May 23 from 12 to 4 pm. Families with children who need a swim test for the summer can bring them in. Open swim will NOT be allowed once the test is complete. This day is for testing only. Please bring your own towel.
Swim Test Policy
All children, regardless of member status and ages 11 and under, must take a 25 meter swim test to determine their swim ability. Tests will be administered by a JCC lifeguard. Bands are issued to children after the completion of their swim test. Children must wear their designated swim level wrist band at all times.
Sunday, May 24-Sunday, August 9
Weather permitting, the Goldstein Family Aquatic Center will open for the season on Sunday, May 24. A full list of rules, prohibited items, and regulations can be viewed here. Hours are weather and staff permitting. The entire Goldstein Family Aquatic Center is available during Family Swim. Water feature availability and use depend on results of swim test and staffing. Use of the diving board and climbing wall alternates every hour. Families are not allowed on the pool deck until Family Swim begins. Swimmers must be 48″ tall and have a green swim band to use the water slide. Lap lanes are limited during Swim Team meets and practice. One lane available during swim team from 8-10 am (indoors and outdoors).

with special early access onceyou’re done eating! Regular pool policies
apply. Early Family Swim access is only for those attending the event.
Tickets required to enter pool early, even if not eating.

The Goldstein Family Aquatic Center Outdoor pool hours are reduced starting August 10 and will close for the season on September 7. Open Swim will be available in the Lap Pool. All Water Walking will be held outdoors with no current. Goldstein Family Aquatic Center water feature availability and use depend on results of swim test and staffing.

The Indoor Lap pool will be closed for annual maintenance from Monday, Aug 24 through Monday, September 7. All lap swim and water fitness classes will move outside during this time. All hours and water feature use are weather and staff permitting.

LAP POOL • •
Children with green swim bands are allowed in the deep end.
Children with yellow swim bands are only allowed in the shallow end. Children with red bands are not allowed in the lap pool unless they are within arm’s reach of an adult.
LAZY RIVER • •
Available for those with yellow or green swim band. Children with red bands are not allowed in the lazy river unless they are within arm’s reach of an adult. Outside inflatables are NOT allowed.
WATER SLIDE •
Children must be 48″ tall to use. The water slide is available to those with green swim bands.
AQUA CLIMBING WALL & DIVING BOARD •
Climbing Wall use will alternate with diving board use every hour. Both are available to those with green swim bands.
Youth Supervision & Swim Test Policies
When using our aquatic facilites, all children MUST be supervised by an adult.
– Children 5 and under must have an adult in the water with them at ALL times.
– Children ages 8 and under must be actively supervised by an adult within arm’s reach.
– Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
– All children 12 and under will be swim tested and issued a swim band based on ability. Swim bands determine water feature use.

Important Reminders
- You MUST enter through the direct outdoor pool entrance. Access via the Fitness Center entrance is NOT allowed.
- Towels are NOT provided. Please bring your own.
- Patrons must follow all pool rules and youth supervision policies.
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Feature use depends on swim testing. Youth must be 48″ and have a green band to use the waterslide.
