Ms. Shannon shows us how to make some yummy overnight oats in the crock pot. Have a grown up with you when making this recipe!
Items Needed for this recipe:
Crock Pot
Measuring cups & spoons
Liquid measuring cup
Bowl and fork
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups steel cut oats
4 cups of water
2 cups milk
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp kosher salt
Optional garnish: chopped nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, syrup, sliced banana or other fruit
• Combine all ingredients in a crockpot
• Stir to combine
• Plug in a crockpot
• Turn the crockpot on to low heat
• Cover with lid and let oats cook overnight
