NEW!!! Star Reporter
(ages 12-16, local Omaha teens only)
Ever wonder what it's like to be an ESPN reporter? The JCC Maccabi Games need local Omaha teens, as Star Reporters, who have a way with words, a knack for news and like to be near the action
They cover the entire Games from pre-planning to Closing Night; they interview athletes and coaches, take photos and videos, produce a daily newsletter and help update the website. Star Reporters proudly wear the Team Omaha uniform and have all the same rights and responsibilities as the athletes, and they take part in all of the events and activities for the full week of the Games.
- Practice times and coaching
- Team uniform and Team Omaha apparel (and trading pins!)
- Social events before the Games (nominal charges for some events)
- All meals and activities the week of the Games
- Transportation from the JCC Hub to all athletic events and evening programs
PAYMENT
JCC Members - $425 Non-Members - $585
Local Maccabi Fee Registration requires a $125 deposit. If not paying the full fee at time of registration, please contact Cindy Reed, Registration Associate, at 334-6419, to coordinate your payment schedule.

The Omaha JCC strives to make our programs accessible to individuals and families from all backgrounds. Our community is hosting the JCC Maccabi Games because we want every eligible Omaha teen to experience this amazing event. No one should miss this opportunity due to their financial situation.
