BBYO- The B’nai B’rith Youth Organization:

BBYO is the largest Jewish youth group in the world; with the first AZA chapter originating right here in Omaha in 1924!  Omaha currently has 4 chapters, 2 AZA (aleph zadik aleph) for males, and 2 BBG (b’nai b’rith girls) for females, and all chapters meet every Tuesday night at 6 pm in the JCC Teen Lounge.  Through several programming initiatives called “folds” Omaha’s Jewish high school youth learn invaluable leadership skills, to better the community through service, make new friends, and travel, too!

BBYO brings Jewish teens EXTRAORDINARY chapter programs that promote brother/sisterhood, Judaism, creativity, social awareness, and of course fun!

Programs include Omaha’s best dances; most incredible regional conventions with a chance to hang out with teens from St. Louis and Kansas City; the best overnight Shabbat program you’ll ever experience, and the opportunity to hold board positions, implement change, and develop leadership. Each Chapter has an adult volunteer advisor(s) to help teens develop their leadership skills and foster meaningful and fun experiences.
Membership is open to all Jewish teens entering the 9th grades through 12 grades, and enrollment is open year round.

1-year Membership = $75

4-year Membership pkg = $149
