Director: Anne Muskin BBYO- The B’nai B’rith Youth Organization: BBYO is the largest Jewish youth group in the world; with the first AZA chapter originating right here in Omaha in 1924! Omaha currently has 4 chapters, 2 AZA (aleph zadik aleph) for males, and 2 BBG (b’nai b’rith girls) for females, and all chapters meet every Tuesday night at 6 pm in the JCC Teen Lounge. Through several programming initiatives called “folds” Omaha’s Jewish high school youth learn invaluable leadership skills, to better the community through service, make new friends, and travel, too! BBYO brings Jewish teens EXTRAORDINARY chapter programs that promote brother/sisterhood, Judaism, creativity, social awareness, and of course fun!
